Youth Red Cross

To introduce voluntary services in the college, we collaborated with The Indian Red Cross and began youth Redcross programme in the academic year of 2018-2019. Mr. A Suresh Kumar, Lecturer in English has been the YRC Coordinator since its inception. As part of the Red Cross activities a three day camp was organized so as to aware the students how to mitigate the loss of disasters. The Fire Department Personnel and The Field Officers of the Indian Red Cross gave their valuables pieces of advice in this programme.

The activities of Red cross were segregated into four aspects and for each aspect a lecturer was appointed as a nodal officer. The details are as follows
