Started in the year of 2017,having Mr.Mahalakshmi Naidu as the Head of the Department. The Department of Mathematics is dedicated to the stupendous mathematical ability in the minds of the students. Since mathematical ability is one of the skills of employability, our department is keen on improving its methods and implementing the same for the benefit of the students. The general phenomenon in Government Degree Colleges is that students are not good at the basic concepts. As a result, they feel Mathematics is a hard nut for them. As we are aware of the problem, the Department of Mathematics at GDC Perumallapuram concentrates on how the students can understand the intricacies easily and how the learning of mathematics is to be a cakewalk for the students.
In view of the student’s betterment and benefit, the department of Mathematics is constantly busy in evolving the new trajectories of teaching and learning process.
