Government Degree College, Perumallapuram is affiliated to Adikavi Nannaya University and has got permitted to start B.Com General (Conventional Course) in Telugu Medium from the academic year 2017-2018 onwards.
Initially, the Department had no regular lecturer in the college but was backed up by Mr. P.Divakar Rao’s services. He has worked here On Duty basis from 21-06-2017 to 09-01-2020 in this college. He rendered his valuable services to the Department of Commerce. The first & second batch students were greatly benefited with his contribution. Later, two more faculty members were added to him. Recently,his deputation has got cancelled. The department of Commerce has two faculty members currently.

Envisions providing excellent and augmenting value based Commerce education. The department is ambitious to train the students with the required level of competence for the employment in both domestic and global market.
